Memorial weekend at the Silver King Hotel!!

This year for memorial day we were supposed to go to Moab with neighbors and friends in the ward.  We got all packed up to leave Saturday morning and Friday night we got a text from our friends the Steeles to let us know that it was not a good idea to come down the winds were horrible.  They said their tent was full of sand and it ws just  blowing in your face and in fact broke some of the tents because the winds were so strong. We were sad about that because we were all ready and it was the first memorial day trip we were joining the ward on but we decided with a newborn and Sadies first time camping winds would not be fun.  The weather was horrible every where so we decided to get a condo and stay in Park City at the Silver King hotel and let Sadie Swim her little heart out, and that is exactly what she did!  We pack all the clothes and food for Moab and headed for Park City.  Our clothes selection was tank tops and swimsuits since we were prepared for the warmth but that did not matter because we stayed inside the condo the whole time and watched movies and swam because it was snowing in park city.  Sadie does so well swimming but always takes a little time to adjust to being back in the water but after a short time she was going under the water swimming like a little fish.  This time she liked Eddie and I to throw her to each other and catch her.  Spencer even got in the water for the first time and seemed to like it.  This was such a fun way to spend a weekend of crappy weather together as a family.  We ate all our food that I bought for camping and cooked in the hotel room so we didn't even have to go out for any food!!!  Sadie watched along came polly with us and thought it was the funniest show!!!  My mom and dad also had a condo up there too so they came on Sunday night and had dinner with us and hung out for a while.

The weather was finally nice on Memorial day so went up to the resort center to go on the slide but the line was way to long because of the holiday so Sadie was really good and we took her to get a chocolate at Rocky Mountain Chocolate factory.  She choose a chocolate dipped marshmallow with sprinkles on the top!!!  Yum!!!

After the resort center we headed to the outlet because we told Sadie she could ride those rides instead of  the resort rides because they were much less crowded.  We shopped a bit bought sadie some really cute pink sparkly shoes and then we had to head home for the week!!

Picking out the swimsuits to wear for the weekend!  Yeah for swimming we can't wait to swim a lot this summer with our raging waters passes, Sadie loves the water and especially the slides!!
