Eddie and I had the opportunity the first week of December to go on a cruise togethter just the two of us. Yes we left Sadie with grandma and grandpa this was extremely hard for us until about the 2nd day into the trip and then we realized how relaxing it was not chasing a toddler around although we did miss her very much!!! Grandma and Grandpa had fun with her and spoiled her every second in fact she hardly wanted mom and dad when we got home. We had a great trip but it was also very interesting as soon as we got on the plane in SLC it had maintanance problems and I was holding back my tears and Eddie kept saying we are going to miss our cruise. Finally our plane started working and we flew to Cincinatti know that we had already missed our cruise. When we got there Delta worked it out that we would stay in cincinatti one night and then fly us to St. Thomas which was our first port in 2 days so that meant we got fly and stay in St. Thomas on the beach for two day on deltas dime and they also gave us great amounts of money to use on food. We had 2 different hotel the first was junk and the 2nd was right on the beach we requested a change after the 1st night in the hole in the wall.
This was paradise now we were at the most wonderful hotel and had two full days of living it up on the beach and all food and hotel was on Delta's expense! Our room looked over the ocean on Lindstrom bay it was close to the airport but the noise never was bothersome. I loved St. Thomas!
Looking down onto Megan's Bay. The taxi driver stopped for a photo shoot and this was the only one of about 20 pics he took that actually turned out!

Trick or Treat!!!
Halloween was so much fun this year Sadie made the world cutest chicken. She went trick or treating a few times once at Eddie's work once to a trunk or treat and of course around the neighborhood. I think Sadie enjoyed the neighborhood the best because she was outside and with her little pal cousin Boston (the monkey) and also 2nd cousin max (mickey mouse). She thought when you knocked on the door and got your candy you could proceed to walk in their house. I had to chase her down in about 3 peoples houses. The whole night was fun we started at my moms house and had soup and answered the door the kids loved seeing the costumes. Then went trick or treating and then finally we ended up at my grandparents to show off the costumes and frost cookies. The best part of all is that Sadie got so worn out that she went right to bed and slept through the whole night!@!
October 28th Eddies Birthday!!!
We celebrated Eddie's birthday this last week. We went to his parents house for his traditional fondue party. This was really fun it is what he has for his birthday every year!!!! We also got to spend time with Camille, Paul, and Derek they were in town and joined us for the party. Derek is sooo cute he is now 8 mo and is crawling. Sadie wanted to show him around grandma's house the whole time. On Eddie's real birthday I took him out to dinner he choose to go to red rock it was delicious!!! The dinner was so fun because we got some one on one time and had a babysitter for Sadie (that doesn't happen all that often)
Pre-Halloween Family Fun
This year before Halloween our family did a few fun activities. It has been a fun year because Sadie is now getting older that she can participate in a few more things than last year. Well kind of she get into everything which makes all the activities twice as hard but twice as fun. She loves pumkins and can say it and she also loves to make scary faces. Sadie is not afraid of any costumes and just rips off masks if you are wearing one!!!! We taught her all about candy and trick or treating this year and she thinks starburst are her favorite along with skittles, not chocolate because mom says chocolate is too messy!!! We are having more and more fun with her but I am also having a hard time keeping up with her she is constantly on the go!!!!!

Eddie and I dressed up as the tooth fairy and darth veder for our halloween party. He was suposed to be a doctor but it didn't work out at the last minute. Shhhhh!!! Don't tell your kids that he comes with the tooth fairy at night.

Let loose at the Gymboree gym!!!
Sadie and I got to go to gymboree on Monday since I had the day off. My mother-in-law normally takes her while she is babysitting. What a great thing to do. If any of you mom are a part of this let me know? Sadie loved playing on the equipment mainly just interested in playing by herself and with the balls. She was having so much fun with the balls when they had to clean the up and move on to the next thing, Sadie through a fit and didn't want to play anything anymore. I guess we will have to learn the hard way maybe I give in to her too much!!!
This was such a fun activity for us to do together and meet other moms an kids. Hope to get to take her more often!!!

Go Utes!!!!
This was sadie's first Utah game being mobile she did great!!!! We couldn't sit in our seat though because she was way to squirmy. Thank goodness for the platform at the top of the stadium so she could run around. Let me tell you she did just that this girl is crazy. She didn't sit still for one minute she was running, dancing, and eating a hot dog. Lets just say she enjoyed herself and mom and dad were worn out!!!

State Fair 2009
My mom Sadie and I went to the state fair. Sadie loved all of the animals except for the pigs she was frightened by their noises. I can't blame her the pigs were fat and gross. She would walk around the aisle and stop and pet then keep going and then stop and pet. She definately had everyones eyes on her.
This was hilarious they had a garden set up for kids and they had aprons and buckets for them. Sadie wasn't quite old enough obviously she would put things in her basket and try to eat them. Finally I took the basket away and then she would lay on the ground screaming. It was so cute though to see her walking with this apron and bucket.

Labor Day Weekend at Snowbird
We went up to Snowbird for Labor Day weekend and spent one night at the cliff lodge. We went swimming, to the octoberfest and also rode the tram up! Definately packed in as much as we could for only being there for one night. We also updated our ski passes even though I am not ready for the snow to fly. What will I do when I can't play with Sadie outside?

Eddie, Sadie and I at the top of the tram. This is her 3rd time. This time though she got to ride down on the chair lift. She did pretty good but was ready to get off at the end!

Another Fantastic Trip to Hebgen Lake!!!!
We got to take another long weekend trip to the cabin yes at Hebgen Lake. We ventured up there with some of Eddie's close high school friend. The weather was fantastic which allowed us to spend a lot of time out on the lake!!! That is what it is all about at hebgen smooth glass for waterskiing and this time we also introduced wake surfing. The scenery just doesn't get much better and after a day out on the lake we can resort back to the beautiful cabin and hop into the hot tub!!! What a life. We were there with the Morgan Family and then the Coolley family met us up there one day later. There was a full house of kids and adults but the kids were awesome and did so well out on the boat!!! Sadie loves being on the boat except for the whole life jacket thing but what kid likes that. She is a trooper. Sadie will also get in the water even though it is freezing and she loves it.

The family at our favortie hiking destination. We always go to hike to Quake Lake it is beautiful!! The hike is short but sweet!!!
The kids always love throwing rocks in the water at on the hike. Sadie is not sure if she would rather throw them or eat them.
