Our Sweet Little Man Spencer Calvin Woolley February 24th 2012

After a long day of waiting for a phone call from the hospital so i could come in for my induction our sweet little boy Spencer Calvin Woolley was born at 9:25 p.m., 7 lbs. 7 oz., 21 1/2 inches long perfect and healthy! The night before I could not sleep with the anticipation of the baby coming I was so excited to meet him! The hospital said they would call between 5-9 a.m. to tell me what time to come in, it was a sleepless night and it got to be 9 a.m. and I had not heard anything so I called the hospital. They had no rooms and weren't sure they would but I was to keep calling every hour. I was not sure scheduling an induction was the greatest idea for me because I had too many nerves built up and now it might not happen I was not too happy. My neighbor the greatest Dr. out there got me in finally at 2 and then the labor began. I went in about 4 o'clock to be hooked up to the potosin and my antibiotics being strep B positive and got my epideral when only dilated to a 2 because the Dr. was going in on a c-section. It took a few hours to dilate to a 6 then only about a 1/2 hour to a 10 and then it was go time. When i got to a 6 my epideral was wearing so they check it and gave me more and then everything was smooth. Dr. Terry said at about 8:30 the baby would come at 9:21 and he was only 4 minutes off, that is what happens after years of doing this. I had Eddie, my mom, Rylee and Kesha in the room during delivery they were the greatest cheering section only 3 pushes and he was out and I felt really great! I had such awesome support and a great photography staff between Rylee and Kesha- thanks guys! Right after he was born I loved having the skin to skin time and just looking into his eyes and meeting him for the first time! Soon after Grandma Jeanette and Sadie showed up and Sadie was so excited and extremely gentle with the baby. She was all smiles she loved coming to the hospital everyday to see me and Spencer now she oftens asks when we are going back to the hospital so she can come to visit because she thought it was sooo fun! Our labor and delivery nurses' name was Sadie she was so nice. After the delivery I was feeling really good and the feeling had come most of the way back in my legs and I was able to move in a wheelchair up to maternity. The hospital stay was fantastic I am bottle feeding so the nursery took Spencer all night so I could catch up on sleep while still in the hospital before the reality of no sleep would be kicking in! Spencer is such a mellow baby to have around he usually cries only when hungry or needs his diaper changed. Sadie is such a great big sister and is sooo helpful with anything I need her to get. She is also very gentle and a great example to her baby brother.

The Awesome neighbor Dr. Terry who finally got me in on the induction date!!

He's so adorable, and Sadie is a great big sister! Good job getting him here, Whitney! I'm excited to introduce our little ones to each other.
