I hate being sick but just a few weeks ago my ulceritives colitis got so out of control and I wasn't sure what I was going to have to do!!! I went to see my GI Dr. and he did all sorts of testing and found that I had ulcers through all of my colon and they were pretty severe. He sent me home with some medicine and said to make sure to keep taking them and i did. But the problems was that I was throwing them up everytime so it was not working. Now the Dr. said he had to admit me to the hopital because if I can't keep my pills down they were going to have to hydrate me and give my pills to me by iv. So on Monday December 15 I was admitted to the hospital and was there until the following Saturday. Thanks to such a wonderful sweet husband and family who were at my bedside at every beck and call I am out of the hopital now. Eddie was so great with Sadie they definatley got some good father daughter time in. Thanks to all the friends and family who helped out during this hard time. I am doing much better but still very weak. it sound like it will be a long process of healing and lots of meds but everyday i am feeling better. All of my blogs from here to Christmas are recaps because i feel like i don't want you guys too miss out on Sadie she is growing up to fast. She now smiles, laughs, rolls and can put all of her pressure on her legs and weighs about 15 pound and is in the 95% on height and is very healthy.
Love you all, Whitney

Our Little Angel Sadie Jane Woolley
This was my wonderful delivery Dr. Steve Terry who is actually a good neighbor friend of our family. He did such a good job along with my husband Eddie in coaching me through the whole labor and delivery!! I don't know what I would have done without them both there. Dr. Terry just made it to work right in time to delivery our precious little Sadie. We delivered at the new IMC which is an awesome hospital
A very proud dad!!! Eddie did so well with the delivery I was a bit worried about him because he doesn't like blood. He even cut the cord good wor dad
Eddie had to leave the hospital and go to work he had such a hard time leaving his new little daughter, that he stopped and got a cake for his work to celebrate the birth of Sadie!!! What a wonderful daddy!!
She was beautiful at first sight. We are such proud excited parents.
Her little legs and toes are so long and so are her fingers. Eddie and I are wondering where she got the tall genes from it will be interesting to see if she will be tall!!
Tuesday July 22 the day we left the hospital!! We brought her home to our new house and tried her out in her crib. She loved it and stretched out a bit in it. She doesn't sleep in it yet she sleeps in a bassinet in our room it is easier for us. She has had a few hard night where she doesn't sleep at all and having her near is so convienient. Motherhood is so wonderful it definately out wieghs the sleepless nights!!!
Proud mom getting ready to bring Sadie home for the hospital. I was just excited to have here out of the intensive care.

Our sweet little girl Sadie Jane Woolley was born on July 22 2008 at 9:13am at the intermountain medical center with Dr. steve Terry. She weighed 7 lbs 3 oz. and was 19 1/2 inches long with strawberry blonde hair. This precious girl has brought so much joy to the Woolley home. We feel so blessed to have such a healthy beautiful baby she is our pride and joy. When she was born she gave us a slight scare and had to go to the intensive care unit because they weren't sure what was wrong with her but her oxygen levels were dropping and they were unsure why!! Of course Eddie and I were very nervous but she pulled through and proved that she was healthy and only had to spend one night there (thank goodness mom was so nervous!!) We are so excited now to have a new baby girl and also a new beautiful home to raise her in.
