Sick, Sick, Sick!!!!

I hate being sick but just a few weeks ago my ulceritives colitis got so out of control and I wasn't sure what I was going to have to do!!! I went to see my GI Dr. and he did all sorts of testing and found that I had ulcers through all of my colon and they were pretty severe. He sent me home with some medicine and said to make sure to keep taking them and i did. But the problems was that I was throwing them up everytime so it was not working. Now the Dr. said he had to admit me to the hopital because if I can't keep my pills down they were going to have to hydrate me and give my pills to me by iv. So on Monday December 15 I was admitted to the hospital and was there until the following Saturday. Thanks to such a wonderful sweet husband and family who were at my bedside at every beck and call I am out of the hopital now. Eddie was so great with Sadie they definatley got some good father daughter time in. Thanks to all the friends and family who helped out during this hard time. I am doing much better but still very weak. it sound like it will be a long process of healing and lots of meds but everyday i am feeling better. All of my blogs from here to Christmas are recaps because i feel like i don't want you guys too miss out on Sadie she is growing up to fast. She now smiles, laughs, rolls and can put all of her pressure on her legs and weighs about 15 pound and is in the 95% on height and is very healthy.
Love you all, Whitney

Our Sweet Sadie!!!

The blessing day of our sweet, sweet Sadie lady. September 28, 2008. What a beautiful day it was. She was blessed in our new ward the Canyon Rim 4th ward. The blessing that Eddie gave to her was just beautiful I was so nervous for him just like any typical mother and wife would be. Although during the blessing Sadie sarted to cry and then I felt really bad because It was my idea that she would not need the binkie but all and all the blessing was wonderful. In the future our next babies will have their binkies in during the blessing it is not a bad idea. After scrament meeting we had all lot of friends and family come to our house for dinner. We served some barbecue pork sandwiches and others. It turned out great everyone brought so much food we had enough for many more dinners. The weather was perfect to we were able to have everyone eat outside it was the first big party and our new house and it was a success. Thanks to everyone and also thanks to Eddie for such a great blessing.
Four generations, Grandma Davis, Mom, me and sadie!!

Sadie in her cream colored blessing dress she looked stunning

Sadie the Ladybug!!!!

This year for Halloween we dressed Sadie up as a ladybug she was so stinkin cute the outfit was perfect beacuse it kept her very warm!!! This year we decided to just stay home for Halloween because it was our firts time to hand out candy in our new house. We have never had the candy experience before we thought it was so fun, the neighborhood kids were so cute. I was actually surprised we got quite a few but or course I bought too much candy!!! Eddie dressed up as scream and tried to scare kids the ones he scared the most was eric and emilee morgan and their kids- pretty funny. We sat out side most of the time be cause it was so warm and I made chicken noodle soup and we had some friends and family who stopped by we enjoyed ourselves.

Sadie sitting up by the pumpkins we carved!!!

Happy Thanksgiving from down south!!!!

This year we spent Thanksgiving with my family down in St. George we got the great opportunity to stay at my Aunt Cathy's family house it St. George. This isn't just any get away home it was absoutley georgeous and very spacious two great ways to describe this place. We had such a wonderful time the weather was georgeous and we had tennis courts, swimming pool, hot tub, biking, and great company. Thanks to the fam for a wondrful trip we missed nick and kesha while they we in Vernal!!
Eddie is such a proud daddy and guess what this was Sadies 1st time in a swimming pool she seemed to really like it she did not complain once. The water really wasn't all that warm either. Sadie has always been a brave soul through her short life so far.

I loved to sway her in the pool trying to get her to laugh!!!

This pool was an olympic size pool nothing was small about the house and its facilities. The thanksgiving food was great too but once again I had to very careful with what I ate due to the colitis.

Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!!!!

Isn't sadie just adorable in her new little christmas dress this year I was so excited to get her a cute Christmas dress!! Now with me being sick so much, it was unfortunate because well she never wore the dress but for a couple of picture, but I guess pictures can say it all right!!!! She will definatley be wearing it more though because it is not too christmasy anyways, and mom loves it.
She just loved to have her picture taken in it she posed the whole time for the camera and never cried once.
Christmas Eve with the Scott family first we all went to see the movie 7 pounds which was very good but we had no idea how depressing of a movie it would be for Christmas Eve. After Eddie, Sadie and I went to visit his family and then came back and ate dinner with my family. We had our yummy soup bowls that we have every year. It was so hard for me to restrain myself from certain foods because of my colitis!!!

Then after the dinner was the gift exchange between the family we all draw names. Thanks to everybody we all did very well with the gift exchange everyone left home happy their presents. Sadie got some great new toys, outfits, and books she is need of it all at the rate she is growing!!!

Thanks autie RY RY for the stacker I love to suck the heck out of it!!!

The greatest invention of all a kiddopotomas swaddling blanket I finally found some that come in a large size because she is growing out of the small one and I was so worried because this is the only way Sadie will sleep well at night.

After we opened presents we all were so tired we went to bed and we all slept at my parents house. It is more fun that way because then there are kids ready to open santa clause presents.

Eddie and I gave this to Sadie for Christmas we are determined she will learn to crawl with it. It is very neat she just lays on her tummy and can spin around on it I think it will be good for neck strength too!!! All in all we had a great christmas thanks to everyone. I wish I could have been feeling a little bit better on Christmas Day because I know it wasn't the same for everyone. I am trying hard right now to be one the mend I guess it seems to be a very slow process though!! Love you all!!!!

A day at Canyon Rim park

My mom and I took Boston and Sadie to the park and played on all the equipment!!

Sadie was to exhausted to enjoy any of the day at the park. Maybe next year, but we are not wishing the time to pass us by!! Check out the new sunhat grandma Scott got for my I love it.

Boston was just the right age to start playing on the playground. He had so much fun the swings were his favorite. I think I scared him to death when I took him with me down one of the big slides- he looked petrified!!! I think we will stick to the swing next time, look how happy he is.

Sadies newborn pictures

Thanks to my cousins wife Jessica for taking Sadies newborn shots they turned out fabulous. Sadie did such an awesome job she never messed or wetted anywhere. What a gem she was!!!

Sadie is now 1 month!!!

Sadie is now 1 month old!!! I can't believe it she is growing up soooo fast. I do not know what our life would be like now without her she brings us so much joy and happiness. She has been getting a little bit better at night sleeping. I have only 1 more month home with her before I go back to work- not looking forward to that time!!! She is too much fun to think about leaving her home. Sadie is just starting to smile at times and yawning all the time. She also can almost roll over ok so we think she can almost roll- she is such a strong baby.

The cocoon is her favorit position.
Sadies first bath on our counter top. She loves her bath. Mom and dad love them too because she usually sleeps well after them. I would love to do it every night so I can get good rest. She so cute after her baths- wide eyed then she is out.

He would fuss until he got another present to open- mom and dad are in trouble for christmas time now because he was spoiled. How could you not spoil him he is soo cute. We can't wait until our little Sadie is old enough to play!!

Our Little Angel Sadie Jane Woolley

This was my wonderful delivery Dr. Steve Terry who is actually a good neighbor friend of our family. He did such a good job along with my husband Eddie in coaching me through the whole labor and delivery!! I don't know what I would have done without them both there. Dr. Terry just made it to work right in time to delivery our precious little Sadie. We delivered at the new IMC which is an awesome hospital

A very proud dad!!! Eddie did so well with the delivery I was a bit worried about him because he doesn't like blood. He even cut the cord good wor dad
Eddie had to leave the hospital and go to work he had such a hard time leaving his new little daughter, that he stopped and got a cake for his work to celebrate the birth of Sadie!!! What a wonderful daddy!!
She was beautiful at first sight. We are such proud excited parents.
Her little legs and toes are so long and so are her fingers. Eddie and I are wondering where she got the tall genes from it will be interesting to see if she will be tall!!

Tuesday July 22 the day we left the hospital!! We brought her home to our new house and tried her out in her crib. She loved it and stretched out a bit in it. She doesn't sleep in it yet she sleeps in a bassinet in our room it is easier for us. She has had a few hard night where she doesn't sleep at all and having her near is so convienient. Motherhood is so wonderful it definately out wieghs the sleepless nights!!!
Proud mom getting ready to bring Sadie home for the hospital. I was just excited to have here out of the intensive care.
Grandma Woolley enjoying her first gradchild in Salt Lake!!

Grandpa Woolley.

2 1/2 weeks old. She loves her binky so much it is a life saver when she wants to cry!!

Our sweet little girl Sadie Jane Woolley was born on July 22 2008 at 9:13am at the intermountain medical center with Dr. steve Terry. She weighed 7 lbs 3 oz. and was 19 1/2 inches long with strawberry blonde hair. This precious girl has brought so much joy to the Woolley home. We feel so blessed to have such a healthy beautiful baby she is our pride and joy. When she was born she gave us a slight scare and had to go to the intensive care unit because they weren't sure what was wrong with her but her oxygen levels were dropping and they were unsure why!! Of course Eddie and I were very nervous but she pulled through and proved that she was healthy and only had to spend one night there (thank goodness mom was so nervous!!) We are so excited now to have a new baby girl and also a new beautiful home to raise her in.
