Fun friend acitivities!!
Sadie and I always enjoy going out with friends it seems that most of my friends now have children and a lot of them are around Sadies age. Sadie also love to play with the big kids too, she thinks she is one of them!
The Sandy fish aquarium with my tennis buddy Rachelle and her cute little kiddos. This is Sadie and Caroline. We saw the fish and Sadie and I even stayed for storytime which may have been the best part. Sadie thought she could take nemo home, when she found him in the tank!
Disney on Ice with Uncle Blake, Aunt Ry Ry and their neice Meredith! This was so fun Sadie sat still the whole time she like Mickey, Minnie and all the traditional characters the best but they unfortunately are the ones they show the least of! Otherwise her favorite was probably tinkerbell she is definately in the tinkerbell stage right now where everything is Tink from clothes to her bed. Her favorite movie right now though is Tangled (the only movie she has ever sat through) definately buy that when it comes out! Her favorite movie to watch at home is toy story 3 she can watch it with no volume and over and over which is quite nice because I don't get sick of it that way!
Thanksgiving Vacation!!!
This year for Thanksgiving we decided to take off to the warmth again and spend some time at my Aunt Cathy's beautiful family home in St. George at Stonecliff. We love to go there and play tennis, swim, workout, and especially to see the sun when it is starting to get cold here! My mom Sadie and I started the vacation a little early this year and heading a week early and stayed a few days and Aunt Cathy's place and then decided to take a girls trip for two nights to vegas! First we were wondering how it would go with a 2 yr. old in vegas but Sadie was an absolute trooper but she has always been a night owl. We stayed at the excalibur which Sadie thought it was so cool to stay in a castle she called it the excalibird and she always talked about a dragon that lived in the castle. After all the fun in Vegas we went back to St. George to meet up with everyone for Thanksgiving Steve, Cathy, Hailee, jonathon, Rachelle, Dalton, Eddie, and Dad. Eddie and my dad left one day early for the Byu Utah game which ended up being worth it for two reasons 1 st Utah won and 2nd Sunday was the worst blizzard driving home it toke us 8 hours from St. George. What a miserable ride and Sadie broke her DVD player 30 minutes into the drive which made it even longer with her asking over and over to watch a movie!!! What a successful thanksginving for very memorable!
First stop was the M&M store which Sadie thought was so cool she picked out every girl color for her and every boy color for Boston she love to pull the lever down and let them fly. This was not a great way to start our first night walking around vegas she had so much energy we could hardly contain her!
This is all her energy right in this picture. She was running like crazy through the gardens of the Belagio she said these flowers are soooo pretty and would smell each one and would get very upset if I would following her she would say leave me alone mom! That is the last thing a mother would do in Vegas!!!
Sadie in the belagio flower gardens with her new hat from the coke factory!!
Guess who was at our hotel yes it was sponge bob square pants! This is the only mascott I have ever seen that Sadie was not afraid of maybe it was because this one was actually not real!
Swimming at the Excalibur in November not the hottest outside but we definatley had to take advantage of the sun!!! Sadie was in heaven this year she just learned to swim by herself with the water wings she thinks she is pretty cool!
Rainforest Cafe in MGM Grand. She was so afraid of all the animal especially when they start making noises. Towards the end of the meal she was laughing because I told her the lions were laughing at her then she loved it.
aunt Cathy and Grandma D cooking thanksgiving dinner. As always plenty of yummy delicious foods. Thanks for all the preparation
Uncle Steve getting his hand into cooking thanksgiving he always does the manly things like the turkey and ham!
More Christmas!!!
Sadie at 2 1/2 we had such a fun christmas this year! Sadie was so afraid of santa this year I didn't even get one picture with Santa not even a crying one I couldn't even get her in his lap at all!!! She really is one happy camper this is when Sadie and I decorated the Christmas tree she was so proud of herself because she would keep changing the ornament to a new place she was very sneaky!!!
Sadie loves to help her mom clean especially using the windex and now finally lets me vacuum it took a long time for that. I had to buy a pretend vacuum and let her do it with me before she got use to it. My cute little helper!!

Squirting the bottle is the best part and of course it gets every where and makes a big mess but she sure loves to contribute!!!
We went to a manger seen at a church nearby our house said pretty much told us the whole story of Mary, Joseph, baby Jesus, wisemen and the shephard. Her favorite part was seeing baby jesus of course she is definately a little mother!
My cute other halves!!

2010 Christmas dress. Say cheese!!!
Ouch Sadie got a big owey!!! We were at my mom house making our traditional candy for our neighbors and Sadie and Boston were playing. Sadie being her wild self decided to play on the fireplace mantel and fell off and cracked her head open and ended up at primary childerens with sedation and 7 stitches. She was so mad at mom because she keep saying mom why did you have to put those stitches on me. I don't think she remembered the Dr. she was way gone why the did the procedure all she did was scream mom the whole time and then woke up extremely tired. Our first tradgedy and I hope not many more to come!!!
Christmas Festivities 2010!!!
Sadie at 2 1/2 at christmas. This year was a very fun and eventful christmas!! Sadie learned about Santa and couldn't stop talking about how Santa was going to bring her a backpack this year so she could start preschool. The backpack came but the preschool thing will be coming soon I cannot believe she will start preschool this next school year she is growing too fast!! She wanted the backpack pink with tinkerbell the best Santa could find was purple with tinkerbell which even had a sleepbag stuffed inside. This year for Christmas we started Christmas eve with my family traditions we all went to a movie called megamind, sadie of course couldn't sit through it so I had to go out in the hall and some guy kept getting upset with her too so I spent the rest of the time in the hall. After the movie we usually go see the christmas lights at temple square but this year it would have pack too much in one day so we just went back to my moms and ate the traditional soup dinner with grandma and grandpa Davis and grandma Scott also came over. We open our family drawing gifts. Then we went home to sleep and then back to my parents in the morning to open presents. At our house Santa had left a chalkboard and Sadie was so mad because her back pack wasn't there but it was all better once she recieved it at grandma and grandpa's house.
After presents we ate breakfast and then went home and relaxed and then over to the Woolley house for a delicious prime rib dinner and then went to see the movie true grit. Sadie's top presents were the backpack, baby doll, and hippopautomus pink tent!!! This year Sadie learned jingle bells and ate lots of candy! We had such a fun and wonderful holiday this year, we hope for a good and prosperous new year.
Since we didn't make the lights this year on Christmas Eve we went down the Monday after for family night and Sadie loved to roam free and run wild. The temperature was freezing it was a quick but fun trip to see the lights

Sadie showing off her new outfit and backpack. Which she is very proud of both and also the tinkerbell she loves from Aunt RyRy and Uncle Blake!
Once she opened her babydoll and her tent she really didn't want anything to do with the rest of her present she was content just play in the tent for hours!!
