Blessing of Maycee Lynne Erickson

Okay so aren't these the most fashionable high heels ever. My aunt Cathy sent them as a gift to my cousin's little girl Mylee. I just love them!!! Sorry I do not know where you can get them!!!

My cousin Mandy and her 3 kids Ashley, JJ and Mylee. We all came to Rexburg and stayed at my Aunt Sandy's house for the blessing of Maycee Lynne Erickson my cousin Tiffany's 1st baby. The house was absolutely filled with kids everywhere. Thanks to the Kettles we had a great time!!!

The proud parents and there little Maycee. She looked so precious!!!

Ashley and Cody aren't they the cutest kids. Cody had eight crowns and 3 root canals and staples put in his head all in 2 days while we were there. Cody was a wreck waiting to happen but he was a really good boy through it all. In fact he was so proud of everything!!

Sadie sporting her knew shades. I need to get her some sun glasses her eyes are so sensitve to the light I thinks she gets that from my mom.

The beautiful brand new Kettle family cabin in Island Park, ID. My uncle Dan and his son and son-in-laws have built this cabin them selves from the ground up. They have done such an awesome job. They predict they should be using it by this summer. Your hard work has paid off we can't wait to come stay with you guys.
Cabin from the front

The inside of the cabin. They have laid all wood it is gorgeous!!!

Bring on the spring!!!!

I am sooooo ready for the spring to come. Eddie and I are stocking up on our summer barbecue supplies so that we can invite you all over for parties this summer!!!! We just bought a grill and a patio table set we got them both on KSL. I love the ksl website I just started using it and we have already bought a few things and have also sold a few things. I think it is the best way to do you spring cleaning, you get rid of the stuff and you also can make a few bucks doing it. We are hoping now that the weather will get better so that we can start to enjoy being outside. Sadie especially loves being outside. We took her to the park for the first time. She seemed to really like the bucket swings. She also loved to sit and play in the grass, but she tries to eat the leaves.
As far as the family update, Sadie is now 8 months old and is still big for her age, we are not sure where she gets that from. She is the happiest baby ever always smiling, laughing, and talking!!! We just adore her of course I am sure you can tell because this whole blog is basically a Sadie shrine I just can't get enough of her. She makes us laugh constantly. These are some of the latest things she can do: she is doing push ups and holding herself there for a long time, she is soooo close to crawling, now she is eating 3 meals but she thinks it is funny to spit it out every where and make a mess it is pretty funny, and she can also totally hold her weight when she is holding on to something. Here are some fun things we have done this spring on those nice days we've had!!!

We went to the Hogle Zoo with Boston and Kesha. Thanks for the great day Kesha and Boston it was so fun to get the kids outside and enjoy the weather. Maybe next time both of the kids will appreciate the zoo more. I guess they are still young at least I know Sadie is but I still love to do these things!!!
Watching the monkeys look Sadie is standing!!!
Look over here Sadie and Boston. It was so hard to get them to both look at us so I just started snapping picures and this is what I came up with!!

We also took the kids on the train ride and this was probably the highlight of the whole zoo experience!!!
Happy St. Patty's day here is the st. patty's day dress grandma Scott gave to Sadie. Isn't she adorable. This was her first photo shoot outside on the grass she loved it!!!
She especially loved eating the leaves on the ground and making silly faces!!

1st time to the park. She loved the swing and the slide.

Sadie is now 7 months old!!!

Gosh time is flying by Sadie is growing up way too fast. She has now learned to clap, working on the whole crawling thing (which I fear for), she roles everywhere ( so what for the whole staying in one spot thing), eating lots of solid foods, and talking alot. She is as cute and as fun as ever, each stages is getting more and more fun. Eddie and I just can't get enough of her!!!! The pediatrician says she above average on everything we are not sure where that came from but I don't think she has much of a chance to be tall. The Dr. says Sadie is a healthy and happy little girl!!! We think she is a very content baby she doen't cry much unless she is tired or hungry or it is nighttime. Does anyone have any suggestions to sleeping through the night? Eddie and I are patiently waiting for her to sleep consistently through the night. She has her nights that she sleep very well but very inconsistent, maybe she is teething though I am not sure!!!! We need are rest.

Happy Valentines Day!!!

Thanks Grandma Jeanette for the cutest valentine outfit!!!
Sadie ate her first finger foods. They are called Farley's rusk they are english. This lady from our ward gave them to me. Sadie almost devoured it whole, she loved it!!! She loves to eat now.

Learning to Clap!!!!

Sadie is tired!!!

Learning to crawl. She love to be on her tummy and play with her toys. We are working on the whole moving thing. Right now she moves but she slides herself backwards!!!

That is the latest on Sadie as for Eddie and I things are still just boring. The good news though is that my health is much better now. I have been on a strict diet that is very hard but it is helping me to do better thank goodness!!! Eddie is doing well and still working for Goldman Sachs which we are very happy about because they have been laying people off like crazy!!! We are now ready for spring and hope it comes soon!!!!!
